Mulan is the greatest Disney movie of all time. Mulan shows that sacrifice is essential to keep the ones you love safe. In the movie, China is at war and every male in the household has to go into the army. Mulan believes that her father shouldn’t but he still he tries to prepare for it even though he’s old and not strong enough to go into it. Mulan takes on his responsibility by running away to join the army.
This evidence shows that she’s willing to risk her life for her father so he won’t get hurt. (Pshhh I would too I love my dad)
Mulan also shows you can do anything you put your mind to in the famous song “I’ll make a man out of you”.
There is a line in the song that says,
“You're unsuited for the rage of war
So pack up, go home, you're through
How could I make a man out of you?”
Shang (The army dude. ya know the dude) is telling Mulan to go home. Mulan could have went home to her family. She could have slept in her own bed again and ate rice with her mom and not worried about anything besides making herself better so she can have a husband. Instead she worked hard to stay in the army and honor her parents since she couldn’t do that in the begining the movie.
In conclusion, Mulan is a very good Disney movie. It shows Disney accepts diversity. It also has a very good soundtrack. It’s also a very good movie with very good morals. The theme is very strong and prominent in through out the movie.
